RDOS News: Billy Howton passes at 95

The oldest living National Football League Billy Horton has passed away at the age of 95.  Born in Littlefield, TX in 1930, he played for the Green Bay Packers beginning in 1952 and held a single-game franchise record with 257 receiving yards in the 1956 game against the LA Rams.  He played for the Packers for 7 years before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 1959 then down to the Dallas Cowboys the following year, 1960.  He was the founder and president of the National Football League Players Association providing and advocating for player's rights.  He helped cement a pension plan, disability coverage, and enabled the player to speak up about football to include the business of.
